Beautiful legs once more
How do you take optimal care in cases of mud fever in your horse and pony?
EKIMUD® is an organic spray for external skin care in cases of mud fever in horses and ponies.
Mud fever is a form of skin irritation of the lower leg and in the pastern cavity of horses. The condition is most common in late summer and autumn. Frisians and Tinkers are more susceptible to mud fever.
Mud fever is caused by moisture and dirt, a fungal infection, a mange mite infection, a bacterial infection, sunburn on white legs (summer mud fever) and generally reduced immunity.
The condition is characterised by redness, flaking, scabs, fissures, a thickening of the skin, moist eczema, itching, a swelling of the leg, pain, fever and lameness.

EKIMUD® contains organic growth factors obtained from cell cultures to stimulate skin regeneration.
